Norfolk 2013

#1 Post by Aladinsaneuk » Wed Feb 06, 2013 6:49 pm

just getting some views from folk

would people be interested in attending a meet in Norfolk again this year?

I have managed to telephone the Shire and the hobbit sergeant major is up for it.... mind you, everything is up for him but

Looking at the second week end in september - so the little buggers are back at school so the camping is cheaper

Looking at using the same place we used for Sam's wake - can't believe the old bugger didn't turn up....

if we do it, we will be having a little ride out around what is often referred to as the Framlingham race track... Bilbo and a few others will know it well.....

OR

would folk like something more central in England - if so, i can help arrange but but cannot be as hands on for obvious reasons!

please give your thoughts

(OH I am also aware that there are plans afoot for a northern meet in 2014 - pack your wet gear - ESPECIALLY if Noah is going.....)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Same as last year is fine by me.

But perhaps it might be an idea to find a venue more welcoming of pyromaniacs?

I would like to be able to make one of these meets one year. Every year, something has cropped up to put the stoppers on it. Last year was an impromptu house move. I'm still trying to figure that one out!

So, yeh. Stick me down for positive interest dude. :smt002
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

I'm a probable. Maybe we should hire a couple of canoes for our exploring. Mart bring your banjo so we look like we fit in. I can practice my piggy squeal just in case.

Put me down as a probable 2, one of the issues is going to be can I ride that far, well yes as long as its a BIG bike, I'm starting on a 2 or 3 op procedures for my legs (totally shite blood circulation) its either that or lose me legs in 10 years, (that would put stoppers on bike riding I think (69'ish then))

No sympathy either its my own fault.

Not having made the "not a wake" is it at the barn?
I hate it when people ask if you have a bathroom, I want to say "No we pee in the garden"

no

we move location to Ditchingham norfolk - tempting to say Bungay, but that is actually in suffolk..... Bungay is the closest town though - a mere 250 yards walk to the nearest pub....

But it's also a 250 yard walk to go to bed. After being at the pub. And getting drunk. Probably.

If all goes to plan I'll be taking a hoard of strong Polish beer. It's 8% and £1 a can. Can get pissed AND get a kebab for less than a tenner. Now when was the last time you could say that eh.. eh..!!??? :smt003 :smt003
