Rear Brake Caliper & Bleeding

Hi all,
Just put a new caliper on the rear and damn if I can get the thing bled through

Have tried the reverse bleeding technique. Went on you tube and some guy with an rsvr has swopped the brake line connection with the bleed nipple, so the bleed nipple is on the top connection. Can this be done?
Got plenty of copper washers, so wonder if this is another option?
Cheers in advance, be doing it saturday when I get the time

I've just done mine, no chance of bleeding it in situ, I took it off turned it over so the bleed nip was above the brake line and hung it off a high point on the bike, stuck a spanner between the pads and it bled up. Not road tested it yet, but it feels ok.
Have you checked out the 'bleeding your hydraulics' sticky, that's what I used for inspiration!!!!
Good luck

+1 with Olig. Thats exactly what I did, and again it feels solid, but the road test wil be the decider
Despite trying reverse bleeding myself I couldn't get it done any other way
