hi all
has anyone got a chain riveter i could borrow for a weekend?
Once I have my new rear tyre I'm going to fit my new chain and sprockets... don't really want to waste money on a cheap riveter and can't afford a decent one atm!
I'm in brum and can of course collect

No problems in lending it to you - and hanging on to it for a week or so should be fine.
Probably be OK re. collection however I'll need to pop down to see my folks next weekend (Dad had a stroke in November and another set-back at Christmas and I try not to leave it too many weeks between visiting). Not sure at the moment whether I'll be going on Saturday or Sunday.
Think it more likely I'll go on Sunday - so we should be OK

Or if ye stuck, drop it round to mine and can collect from/return to here.

Yes I was thinking along those lines as "plan B" but I think we're sorted now.
If things change, I'll be in touch (well I'll probably be in touch anyway but I'll add this to the conversation)
