Is it worth the hassle? You can get them from AF1 for $15:

Is it worth the hassle and postage from USA when Redratbike from the ApriliaPerformance Forum produces them and will sell you a set for £10 delivered.

...... wonder what Will can knock them out for .......

I made myself a set of these years ago for about 2 quids worth of stuff from a hardware shop and about half an hour of my time.

They've paid for themselves many times over in the time and effort saved taking the seat off.

I'm happy with mine, they work really well (provided you set the height right initially), I just couldn't be bothered to make my own so got the AF1 ones.

I used 'R' clips (bought 4 just in case) and bent the round ends up a bit to make them easier to get on and off. Didn't bother with lanyards and not lost a any yet.

Even if I lose one or both the seat isnt going anywhere with my fat arse on it until I buy more.
