valve clearances

just started to service the bike this morning on 14,000 mls. i'm now that deep into it i'm going to check the vavle clearances, any one know what the gaps should be from cold, cheers.

Have a look in the workshop manual - both the general Falco one and the Engine one can be downloaded from Martin Poll's site:

Yeah, I checked mine at around 15k and not one was tight. Several were close but none needed adjusting (Thank God)

Same.
hardest part was getting the front valve cover off. one of those flexy things you get with tool sets did it.
don,t forget to replace the little plug on the nearside engine cases.
i,ve heard of people forgetting, and making a real mess of there freshly painted garage floor! :smt076

Sorry to say but I had to adjust two shims on my old Falco back in 2005. Quest completed.
