OE Brembos ditched, OZ wheels fitted.

#1 Post by Nooj » Mon Jun 04, 2007 12:26 am

Front talks to rear: "Uh-oh, attempted rider involvement detected!"

Rear: "It's OK, I'm on the case"

Rear (to rider): "Hello and welcome aboard, thank you for riding OZ. It may not have been made clear to you initially, but you really don't have to be making all that nasty effort to turn any more, seriously, it's what we're here for. You just sit forward and relax, look where you want to be, decide on a time you want to be there and we'll take care of everything else for you, it's our pleasure!"

Rider: "Yeah, but I read in a bike mag about counter-steering and rider input and feedback and stuff and how I should be forcing my bike to bend to my will and how I need to give it a firm hand you know? And what with the old wheels that I thought were really light and responsive actually being quite hard work to turn at high speeds, I thought......"

Rear: "No, really, honestly... That's what we're for. All you have to do is look where you want to be, twist the throttle in order to get there and we will take care of the rest, it's our job!

Rider: "So it's not really a load of hard work for me then, I can just get on with..."

Rear: "Enjoying the ride? Exactly! Oh, by the way, you might want to begin braking soon, there's a roundabout ahead and we're closing in on it quite fast."

Rider: "WAAAAHHHHHHHHH!......oh, that was easy."

Front: "My pleasure, less mass you see, easier to stop me turning. Notice how the bike didn't try to stand bolt upright while braking into that turn? One of the many things that you'll find out I can do!"

Rider: "Wow, I'm impressed! OK then, but it'll take me a while to learn how to ride with you, I've only just got used to the old set up properly."

Rear: "Well, we're hear for the for-see-able future so all you have to do is relax and let us take care of the difficult stuff. It is, after all, why we're here. Oh, and you may want to brake again presently."

Front: "No worries, it's all sorted. Just carry on as you are."

Rider: "Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!" :smt040 :smt040 :smt040

They work then, (sounds like they've taken all the 'fun' outta handling though!) :smt002
Two is the magic number... ;)

Stay away from OZs people! They seem to be causing mental disorders!

Nooj, there is still hope for you. Just ride onto my driveway, I'll 'fix' your bike, you'll be back to normal :smt006
