Just got the letter thru. Apparently they need anuvver 300k due to finding corrosion hidden away in the depths of the airframe somewhere.
See! If they bought a new one, they'd have been much better off and wouldve got a warranty with it. They'd have probably got 12 months interest free credit too.

Apparently at Woodford, while the Vulcans were being developed/built there were 4 smaller prototypes, painted in different colours - red, blue, silver and yellow they think. Anyone else know anything about these?
