Cool; Always wanted a pair o Blueflames n I guess the general consensus is thats what they are, (who am I to argue)! :smt003
Next question; Is there a specific chip that suits them in particular, or should I just go for the most expensive, (and hopefully best), chip I can find? :smt017
So, which chip, how much n where from?... :smt102

HAVE A VERY CLOSE LOOK AT THE END OF THE CANS - I reckon you will find a circular groove to hold a baffle in - the blue flames use circlips - and afaik they are the only type of can that do

as for chip - if you are that keen, just get a power commander, and an air kit, then do the dyno run thing :)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

I'll have to perform a closer inspection of the exit ports tomorrow to see if I can spot the groove, (man).
Cant afford a PC3, so Im after a chip that someone on ere can recommend from first hand experience. The last chip was a zero-brand affair, and as Im skint, the new chip aint much better, (though there is a little more mid-range than the last-un, which I like :smt003 )!
Problem is; I dont wanna have to keep buying new chips because of buying tat-quality cheap uns!
Im, (apparently), running the BFs plus a K&N and the 'Triton' race chip from Italy, (appropriately :smt003 ), if that helps.
I'd like to do the airbox mod too; Prolly do a DIY number, with help from my Dad, when I get chance to get another airbox to modify/butcher. :smt005
So.
Whats the 'best' chip for the BFs in peeps opinions, and is it possible to buy the road-legal baffles? Im thinking at MOT time it would save me swapping to standard cans which are criminally quiet! :smt020
I'd also like to do a dyno run once Ive got everything together.

my bike is running on the af1 chip atm - and is pretty good - nice up to 7000 rpm then it becomes an absolute bloody hooligan.. seriously swift - you are not supposed to wheelie at 70 are you??

and, and being honest, you can chop and change chips, but only a pc3 and dyno run will really fettle it as you want imho

i got mine from usa ebay - and asked them to mark it as a personal gift etc - no nasty tax and i paid 150 for it in real terms....

I bow to all your superior intelligence, especially Aladinsaneuk; Finally checked and they do have the groove for the baffles you mentioned matey! :smt005
Spotted it whilst doing a bit of a service on her, (coolant dump n fill, cleaned brakes-up, new clutch n brake fluid, changed engine oil, (again!), Xenon headlight bulbs in, new chain n sprockets fit, (16/41 fer a change from the 15 front), and tried but gave up trying to fit the Loobman I just bought!
Two hours of struggling, wheel in, wheel out, checking the position of the delivery head but I couldnt get it so I was satisfied enough that it deffo wouldn't get chewed-up by the sprocket should it move at all, (the 'head', not the sprocket!). :smt013
I reckon theyre more suited to the OE, squarer swingers, (mines off an early Mille), so if anyone wants a loobman send a PM! :smt002
Cost £17ish last week, plus the fact its already semi-assembled, so say £25?...

:smt043
Awright; £12 posted... :smt003
Anyone?....
