Pinch bolts are completely removed, as are the clip ons and associated bits.

Just a thought, would the steering lock being engaged stop the yoke coming off?

Also, if you still have the front wheel on the ground it can make removal and replacement more difficult, get the weight off the wheel and it's easy.

Never bothered to find out how a steering lock works before, just thought I'd ask on the off chance, good job I did :smt001
