Just fitted my stand. Mate of a mate has cut it,welded a bar up the middle and increased the height by 25mm. He smoothed the weld off and powder coated it. It looks great, better than original , and sits perfectly to suit the Mille sachs shock (still on the standard ride height as the donor bike). If I can work out how to post a piccy, I may do it at the weekend. NOW, the fly in the bloody ointment 
When I start it in gear, it turns with the stand down. Dunno what I have done, didnt touch it apart from undoing the bolt and doing it back up again. Maybe I will look in the daylight, its cold in the garage tonight.
