#1 Post by GregD-UK » Sat Aug 29, 2009 2:15 pm

Hi all,

Want to put a banjo bolt with a bleed nipple on my top connection on the clutch hose. Is it a 10mm x 1.00mm or 10.00mm x 1.25mm? Have no clue, any help much appreciated :smt003
My warranty is the clear/smoked tail lights around the corner!!

Well, coincidence of coincidences .... a little while ago I bought one of these from RSVR.net (when it was still trading .....).
I got it out today to fit to the bike - but ran out of time (have to do it tomorrow).

That's just as well as I've still got it to hand.
Unfortunately I haven't got a thread gauge but I've taken a pic next to a rule.

Wasn't convinced it was a 1.25 thread .... so I popped on my reading glasses to have a look and also took a better pic.

Looks like a 1mm thread to me.

Brembo stuff is almost always M10 x 1.0 thread pitch. As you're threading into a Brembo clutch master cylinder I'd be pretty sure it will be M10 x 1.0.

Incidentally, bleedable banjo bolts are available in stainless from this eBay seller:
