Swingarm/exhaust/oil tank swap done!

It took me 26 working hours. Bloody nightmare

List of mods:
- HID low beam only, Euro spec headlight

- Mille oil tank

- Mille exhaust (weird carbon road legal big bore bling bling Akra)

- Tuono swingarm

- Tuono bellypan

- Buell footpegs

You can see the difference, it's big. Yes, so she's dirty. Sue me.

The stock chain *just* fits with 15/41 gearing. I changed to 15/40 (15/41 is too short for Brands Hatch ).

Everything greased, lubed. Not cleaned. I don't do cleaning.

Still need to get a front OZ wheel, paint everything in one nice colour that I have planned (surprise), plus get a custom PC3 map once I settle on the exhaust (Akra is quite quiet, but if she can breath properly, I don't mind).

Feel free with gushing, I actually passed on these lights. Can't touch tools anymore. Wrenching overflow error, system crashed. :)

Well done Sab - looks very good.

Mine is still "in progress" ... bloody wife ended up off work with a nasty cough so I've been monitored and supervised and complained at every time I head for the garage rather than working on the house!

Swinger is in though - hopefully get the rest done before too long ...

Thank you all for compliments. It was helluva lot of work. I am still not sure if it was worth it. It was three working days for Christ sake. Could have been to Alps and back! I'm sure that if I had more skills it could have been done in one day but I learn as I go.

Looks bloody gorgeous. I will be eventually heading down the same route as you. Black mille swing arm (propping up garage door at the mo) and goind down the 'sans fairing' approach. Allways been a streetfighter nut.
Back to the point, I think your time was very worth it!

Shame about the cleaning though, you had a great opportunity of getting to all the hard to reach places done there, but each to his own I know I'm the saddest bloke on the planet when it comes to cleaning bikes. takes me 2 hrs of cleaning every time I take the bike out.

But I love the overall look, so different but very classy, a big thumbs up from me

I'll be trying to bring the exhaust down somehow, will need to look into it. The collector will need to be modified to achieve that, I'm afraid. On the other hand I like the look of it now...But I can't fit the throw-over bags any more...Or the passenger footpegs...

Naah. I named her La Sporca not without a reason! If the place is hard to reach it was designed not to be cleaned, obviously. I could let you ride her for a while so that you could clean her afterwards if you like

Thank you! The difference in looks is much larger than it appears on the pictures, trust me. It looks like a finished bike, like the whole package, instead of a parts bin.

Well despite my earlier tongue in cheek comment I like it. I have it half in mind to keep mine tillthe bitter end with a conversion to flat bars somewhere along the line.

From reading some of the threads on Falcouno jobs it always seems that the rads are a bit of a problem but yours look good with those little finishing pieces. Are they stock Aprilia ?

I can't see the problem you mention. These are Tuono stock radiator covers. They'll be painted to match the rest of the bike. The space at the back of radiators looks weird, sort of empty and not clean, not a big issue.
