I have a couple of the Halfords professional toolboxes and I honestly believe you won't get better for the price. Very well made and last well (not to mention the lifetime guarantee).
I would suggest that if you can afford it and are after something that size, the black industrial range are even better than the normal professional ones.

If you pull each drawer out a little less than the one below, they make a handy set of steps which allow you to reach the work bench. Brilliant

Thanks all, have built up a collection of their professional tool range (snigger) so need somewhere to put them...they have them on some good offers at the mo, as you say can't really beat the price....now the trick is to sneak it past Mrs Furygan and down into the basement?

Cover them in wrapping paper...
When she asks what they are.. well, obviously you cant answer that!!
Then christmas day you bring out the empty boxes, rewrapped, filled with huge amounts of paper and some small trinketry inside..

TBH they all seem very expensive to me for boxes to keep your tools in .... that is until I compare them to how much a tank of fuel for the car costs ....

For years I've used cantilever tool boxes. Currently have a Halfrauds Pro jobbie. It's robust and does the job. But since moving in to the bigger garage, I've acquired more tooling and am running out of space to put it all. One of my friends has his big Snap-On roll cab and top box in there, and it's bloody brilliant. It's about 30 years old and battered, but it works. A proper toolbox has been on the list for years, but I seem to buy things with engines in them instead..
95% of my tools are Halfrauds pro, and couldn't recommend them enough. Bloody brilliant all round, so can't see why the toolbox's should be any different.
