'C' Spanner

Anywhere on the 'high street' you can get these or is it mail order only, just been into Halfords and no joy?!!...and what the size i need to fit the 'yellow spring' shock nut?
One more thing, i have a nut that keeps working it's way loose on my mirror- did i read on here something you can spray on or add to the thread to stop this??

Change the nut for a new nylock nut or put some thread lock on

BnQ.. you'll be lucky to find anything you need in that place mate. You'll be better off heading down to your local motor factors or engineering supply shop.
As for the c-spanner.. I'll make you one. If it's the same as Ohlins shocks, I already have the CAD as I made Mr Rider a couple about a year ago.

Re 'A' ; plenty of suppliers on ebay/Amazon - where I got my last lot, being some distance from nearest engineers' merchants

lol yup, it's code for sod the C 'spanner' get a big metal stick, place against the crennelations on the adjusting 'crown' (crennelated ring) and hit the other end with a hammer

Will does make a mighty fine C-Spanner .... very happy with mine
I tend to buy my loctite from ebay as the car parts shops tend to charge the earth (as do some ebay suppliers)

Can do this for £9.50 for a 10ml bottle (takes ages to use up). How does that compare to what's on e-bay?
