Edge Trim required for radiator guards

After taking Furygan mans advice to visit my local B&Q. I now have the correct mesh to make a couple of radiator guards from.

But depite looking everywhere in B&Q and other DIY type stores today, I can't seem to find anything suitable to use an edge trim.

I've considered using some small bore black hose which I could split to accept the mesh and I'm sure this will work to a fashion, but does anyone know (or suggest) where I can get some more durable (suitable) edge trim from?

I'm thinking of the stuff that was fitted to the rad guards I had on the last Falco, In my minds eye I can see what I need but I can't describe it :smt013 :smt013

Thanks in advance

They don't look small bore to me!

I assume screen trim would also do the job. More expensive though I expect, unless Mortax are selling off bankrupt stock?

Might be too late but, I found that the edge of the mesh was hidden by the bodywork and I didn't need any trim.

Top and bottom edges were fitted into the recesses at the top and bottom of the rad matrix and I bent the mesh round the sides of the rads where it was hidden by bodywork.
