Reviving Carbon Fibre

When i bought the Falco it came with a carbon fibre hugger fitted. All well and good but it is looking a bit tired as it has some scratches in the top coat and also the surface has gone a bit milky.

Does anyone know of a good, cost effective way to sort this out and make it look new again? Is it just the surface that is affected and if so would I just be able to rub it down with some wet and dry and give it a couple of coats of laquer?

IIRC there was a discussion about this very thing on AF1 a while back. Would be worth having a search over there.

How about heat damaged carbon fibre that's gone a bit brown, any fixes?
