Bloody sidestand .... speed sensor ..... instrument pack resets ..... sprag clutch .... OE shock ..... battery/charging circuit ..... etc etc

You're right .... according to Aprilia, it never goes wrong.

That being said, it's just so damned good that we forgive these little foibles and fix it up better than new.

The only recall I recall (clever eh!) was for the oil pipe from the sump by the side stand. Apparently they put the cover in place without the oilpipe inside it.

Yeah - just in case there was any confusion, I was not suggesting there was a recall on the things I listed ..... they were just some of the bits and pieces for which Aprilia could have done better.
My understanding is the same as 'Poops - the only recall was on the oil pipe of some early bikes.
