if any of you have seen things like http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/APRILIA-RS-125-SL ... dZViewItem and thought that it could be useful, please drop me a line

(Or better still a padded stamped addressed envelope!)

I am shortly going to be binning a lot of old/expired stock at work, and that will include some 60ml syringes and some Oxygen tubing. Oxygen tubing is nice in that it can be cut to fit onto just about any size bleed nipple

Please note that this stuff has to be canned as it is out of date in terms of sterilising so the health service is losing nothing....

and I just thought i would offer as i reckon some would find it usefull

Now you tell us!

Had to fill the forks on my son's CB125 the other week. Couldn't find a syringe anywhere. In the past I always used to get them from my Mum who was a pusher - no, sorry, a nurse - but she's retired.
Went and bought a set off of ebay - then last Saturday I found an old one that I had hidden away!

Always worth having some of these to hand - I've no immediate need but don't let them go to waste Pete.

I am now off work till next week, but will ensure that I have some bits and pieces to pop in post for you guys

If ok with all, I will be giving away the 60 ml syringes with metre lengths of tubing - if i have any smaller syringes about i will try to throw some in as well - all depends what my audit finds!

I tend to use the smaller syringes for topping up brake fluid etc - just remember to label different things....

and no, before anyone asks - I will not have any spare needles - i went through them all last week and they are all still in date

Put me down for one of the syringes and a length of tubing please!

Need to bleed the GPz brakes and keep forgetting to buy a pressure bleeder.

One of them'd be ideal.

Those that have been here a while will remember that my avatar used to be a Hawkwind album cover and my username taken from a Hawkwind track title (no significance in the "user" part of username - I never have been - despite my choice of music).
Anyway, at one time Hawkwind became The Hawklords and one of their tracks was brought to mind by Aladinsaneuk's post about auditing his medical supply situation:

Flying Doctor

this would be the same set of hippy's that threw lemmy out for his drug abuse?
the same set of musicians that for years had roadies whose main job was to hold the band up while they played?

no idea what you mean btw LOL :)

Yep.

Fairly similar to most of the bands I liked .... Liked their music - didn't follow their lifestyle.
