Hi can anyone tell me where its best to put the air sensor located in the right side air intake, As I have removed the fairing. I seen to remember someone on here saying to place it in the air box. At present its situated in a piece of tube under the clocks.

Sorry I don't know - mine is in the air tube in the fairing where it should be.

See what works ?
It was right in the air scoop enjoying the wind across its little circuits, something similar may be OK !

It's worth finding out exactly what its function is. If it measure ambient air temperature (and I'm not sure if it does or not) it needs to be exposed to the air, but probably not in a howling gale. Find a similar location to the original would be the best advice I could give. I don't think in the airbox would qualify.

Hi all,

Probably an NTC, Higher the temp lower the resistance back to the main board. Then the fuel is mixed via elektrikery…

By the way, Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) ok...
