I know braided are expensive but HEL seem to think that £329.98 is the proper price for braided hoses for my BB. my last lot (2004) cost me under £100 and they were HEL as well.

Any suggestions folks or have I got to dig that deep.

Isn't that just because the BB has about 4 billion hoses for all the linked-brake gubbins?

IIRC Ven Hill are just down the road from you Gio, might be worth giving them a go, pretty sure they've got a web site too

Ven Hill make some really nice stuff but you may have to pay....
Wezmoto make all the UK based Hel lines and are a fair bit cheaper

Yeah and I really fancy stripping out the existing brake lines to measure them up. the price is very similar to HEL anyway.

They don't do a kit for the bird, obviously like the extra dosh the HEL lines generate.

I'm thinking i might go down the de linking kit route, that's a lot cheaper.

Yes and yes, they're bastards to bleed as well if you get any bubbles in. On my old bird when i had it I used a special gun that forced the fluid in from the front callipers, will have to hunt about for it again :smt012
