Thank you gentlemen, I will be taking your advice and re-checking the carb this next weekend. I did have the carb professionaly cleaned and re-furbed so I did take the time to clean everything with compressed air and double check the jets and emulsifier tube. I thought I had the carb settings about right (acc to the haynes manual) but nothing beats perosnal experience.
