I know, your last 9R was nice before it got bent.Falcorob wrote:And if you ever decide to sell the Kwak mate give me a shout please because I like 'em too.HowardQ wrote:A Fut was on my list (along with a Blackbird), when I got rid of my CBR1000F after 7 1/2 years.
I always seem to have two bikes in regular use these days.
Then again it was a bit too much like the Falco and I wanted something a bit different.
The Blackbird was also very much like the CBR1000F that I got rid of, and I wanted something a bit different.......
I went into a bike showroom and something just Qwacked at me so I bought it.
(My earlier Kwacks were smokers with 3 cylinders).
The 9R was so much more comfortable than I thought it would be, it will never be a Falco, but a great bike and something different to experience before I have to pack it in.
It's nice to have "Options".
Like the mods BG.
It was an F1P like mine wasn't it, or was it the F2.
They are both great bikes with a very diferent character.
I've had more Hondas than anything else, but I reckon Kwack IL4s still have more character than other Jap bikes.
The induction howl on the Kwack is nearly as good as the induction roar on the Falco.

Great ride home from Wokingham to Dorset today ( apart from the traffic) on Gertie with her new front end - no sore neck, no aching shoulders! Woohoo!
An indicator failed on the way home (nothing to do with Iain's work, it's played up once or twice before) - why is it ALWAYS a right hand one?

Finally won the battle with the RH front indicator! Couldn't be as simple as bulb gone could it? So much corrosion it was amazing it had been working at all. Attacked it with emery paper and a file, took bloody hours!
Haven't had time to practice with the trailer on the trike so I won't hitch it up for the Basingstoke Festival of Transport tomorrow.
Nooj says I should use ACF50 on it - might try that, and I spose I should have a go at the LH ones before they start giving problems.
