RS125 (Rotax 122) Engine Question

#1 Post by Willopotomas » Sat Oct 27, 2012 9:00 am

Mornin all.

Does anyone here happen to know the PCD for the alternator rotor puller tool? We've got an engine in for a rebuild after the big end shit itself. Now a normal person would make a template and drill a plate from that, but me being me, I'm not near enough to the engine to do that. It would be nice to get it sorted today, so thought I'd ask here first incase anyone knows or can point me in the right direction.

Ta n'all :smt001
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Come up with a better idea. No need for the exact PCD, just cut slots in the general area of the bolt holes.. Why didn't I think of this obvious step earlier. DOH!!! :smt005

From what I read you can get some of them out with two flat head screw drivers and a light tap in the middle but remember I am struggling to change the headlight bulbs lol
