{WANTED} Falco Front Discs...

#1 Post by falcomunky » Tue Mar 12, 2013 9:14 pm

Anyone happen to have either a decent condition OE pair of discs or an alternative/pattern pair they'd like to sell me?
I'm not after Galfer or anything flash (ie costly :smt002 ) but as long as they are in decent nick.
Also, I recall the 99-03 Mille discs are the same. Can anyone confirm (just opens up my options on Ebay)?
Ta muchly in advance...

Pretty sure I've got a used set that I bought for spares - I'll dig them out and check the condition. Pretty sure they were fine.

Found this list one a yamaha forum I'm a member of, this is a list of compatible discs for the yams.

As the falco is on their, one would presume all these discs will fit and may find someone a bargain for an emergency disc.

Please check before you buy as I have not confirmed this list.

Cheers for that list wayno. I'll have to have a trawl through Ebay...

UPDATE: Bikes just gone through its MOT with a couple of advisories. The rear brake was binding (not enough for a fail thankfully) and my chain was a bit loose! :smt005
Got the chain sorted easily, but after stripping down the rear caliper I've found the outermost piston is corroded in place and will NOT budge! Its trailing a little on the disc but as I never use it I've never noticed!
Anyone have a spare rear caliper I could buy from them (must be good nick) or know of alternatives? I'm watching a couple on Ebay but they seem a bit worn to me...
Are the early Mille/Tuono calipers the same?
Anyone?...

Erm ..... Yep

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

I'll brave going out to the garage again in a bit .... had to fix Daniel's (my eldest son) CB125 earlier - meant to dig them out then .... and forgot.
