I've got an up and over door stood not doing much, if your interested.
Think it's about 6' 6" wide, I used to get a Volvo 440 into it with about 2" either side.
It's got all the spring gear and wires, (think there may be a spare wire with it).
Just needs a frame knocking up for it.
I made one from 4x2 wood jointed into the last garage, but had a new garage and saved the door.

Umm, surely the door should be sized for the opening in the garage, rather than the size of the car? Or am I missing something (again?)

LOL .... yes, it's not a real website .... but if Carling did websites for FALCO SPLITTERS that have traded for 4 wheels ....... (rather interesting 4 wheels BTW - even I will admit that)



Also I'm guessing that I have a good idea where this door may be going and if so, current openings aren't really the issue.

Andy's thoughts are the right ones. The size of this particular opening can be made to suit the size of the door. It's currently one huge door that swings in, but with the new toy having to be stored in there it has to change, as the swing space is too vast.

Had considered that.. As well as those sectional ones that push up over-head. The "up & over" will be the cheapest, and that is what this exercise is all about. Low cost.
