As we don't appear to have an 'Aprilia Wanted' section, I thought I'd post here.
Basically I'm after a set of unmolested standard blue OZ wheels as fitted to the 1st Generation Mille 'R' bikes, in nice condition. I know they're not exactly common, but I'm prepared to wait for the right set...
Cheers!

Yes, this is the right place to post Graham

You would only reject them as they are not standard blue (though I do have a cracked one that is!)
Besides, if I got rid of them, what would I use for pootling around in the winter months?

your zimmer frame?
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

I'd have thought carbon would be at least as resistant to road salt as aluminium...
But yes, I've been through the palaver of taking bearings out, getting wheels powder coated, putting bearings back in and it's not something I'm in a hurry to repeat...

It's not the durability of the rims - I have a more touring type tyre on the OZ rims and a more sport focussed set on the BSTs. Horses for courses.

I had considered a 'wanted' section, only yesterday.. but dismissed it as with only 'wants' there, it'd be a nightmare to keep current.
Any wants just get shoved in here mate.
