As above, do it!
I have only heard good things about them.

Keep promising myself I'll do one, but have never got around to doing it yet, helped by the fact last time I tried, they had stopped doing them in Sheffield.

This is looking good! Saw them (North Yorks) at Croft the other month and seemed very approchable and a good idea.

North Yorks are booked up, so looks like Leics (Enderby) or Warks (Gaydon) 23 July with lunch and tea stops!!

When I was first on the Kwak (2 wheels!) I did one of these - or something similar with a Dorset police rider - and I've never forgotten what I learned, it made my riding easier and more enjoyable - and quicker!

I did it about 4 years ago and as a result continued to do my IAM. It's well worth it. Some of the techniques will not suit everyone but I believe it's made me a lot more aware and a safer rider. Trying to encourage my lad to do it this year - he's an all year round rider and has developed some bad habits.

Been intending doing one of these for several years but still not got round to it.

Depending on when, I might join you Mr Fury.
(maybe rope-in one or two others of the Midlands Massive)

Could do with something - I've still not got my confidence back from that big front-end slide I saved. Normally I'd have got rid of my winter chicken strips by now, but now I've got KFC knocking at the door asking me to supply them.

When I did mine it was really wet the 2nd day - as a result there were only 2 of us instead of the 3 the first day - and the instructor had us deliberately riding over drain covers to learn that if we ride over the middle of the cover, the rear wheel will only slide so far then grip again! It sounds awful but in fact it was incredibly confidence building!

Did it years ago in London (I got it for free too, as I worked for Transport for London at the time).

Well worth the money IMO (25 quid IIRC) good day out and you will learn something new.

The cop following me commented on my protracted efforts to avoid drain covers (I'd had the falco about a month at that time), which lead to a convo about suspension and he told me why set up is so important and knobs did what etc. I did what he suggested and got a much better ride quality.
