Nice one Pete, those pesky leathers tend to shrink over time though.

Ah - great news!
Just take it steady - Born-Again-Bikers are at a much higher risk when they return to biking

LOL thanks alot and as Tim points out it is a bit bigger than a cb5
In fact its about the same size as a Falco if not as mental
Its another silver bike, but methinks it'll not be that for long, as I saw a bike today in a rather fetching shade of metalic blue with a black frame

. Sadly no pics of that as I was driving at the time.

I've racked up 700 miles since I got it, which would have been more but as i found at when hitting a ton in 4th the engine died (dirty fuel filter). Its got various nasty things with it as the previous owner, had never ridden it hard enough 2" chicken strips either side.
Its going to be a major overhaul this winter, ie a blackbird job (paint, frame, new brake pistons, braided hoses, new bits of plastic, ss bolts and buttons, flat handlebar (ala cb5 for those who remember))
It goes like stink tho, never have I known 6 gears run out so damn quick.
Will post up some pics of its tatty appearance when the weather moderates.
Oh and its got a bent rear subframe that i think was from a meeting with the deck before I got it.
Prior to all that I'm going to take it to southern cross to let them see whats wrong with it
