Pick me a bike

Been without one for almost exactely a year now. Probably haven't ridden one in 18 months or so. But I don't want a sensible one, oh no. I want another sportsbike, probably a twin. If it has red bits that's fine too. Oh and did I mention I'll prolly need to get it from a dealer and it'll need to cost <£4k or so. Hell, if it had an awesome enough finance package I could go higher, but it would need to be a devastating deal.

I'm thinking an RSV, an R or a Factory if I can find one cheap enough.

Thoughts?

675 with a full race fairing and an endurance racing headlight. Sprayed in Hamster yellow wityh a furry seat.

Failing that something easy like a CBR 125. It's been a while after all.... :smt002

2002 R1 or try a 954 'Blade with full suspension setup.

Still far too fast and the blade is just sublime in its riding. Even now.

He's talking sportsbike, and Italian at that. Deffo not the real world.

For a practical enjoyable real world ride that wont cripple you after 100 miles, try a GS. As always, Gio is right :smt003

Doh!

Get it back, sell it to me!

Seriously though, a 954 does have a certain appeal. If only they didn't have shell-suit graphics ...

Have you thought about a Falco??

A large number of us believe this is probably one of the most underated bikes ever made. The good news is that they are almost bullet proof, made with quality components and because they are seen to be "unfashionable" you can get them very very cheap. All the real world power of a Mille with the comfort of a tourer, no really they are that good, give one a try

Oh and they are very very easy to modify and play about with the lists of mods that can be done is almost endless, (lots of Mille bits fit as well) Own a falco have a big credit card bill (that's how it seems anyway) here's my "slighty" modded bike to give you an idea
