‘Motorcycle-friendly’ barriers

We have a different version all over the place already.
The new solid concrete version.
Let's see a motorcyclist try and mince himself with one of those.
Forgetting bikes for a minute.
The idea of the old style barriers was to absorb impacts, slow the vehicle down and reduce injury.
Unfortunately this meant absorbing costs for replacement every time somebody hit them, but it did help reduce injuries.
The new version allows people to smash into them and be obliterated or bounce back into the carriageway and have an ongoing smash with various other vehicles before finally stopping some distance down the road.
Then again they shouldn't need replacing afterwards, so the primary aim of money saving is achieved.
