Welllllllllllllllllll.
The 'Blade handled so sweetly. More power then I'd ever need. Tiny compared to the Falco. My concerns are fuel range and how long I could stick the riding position?
The VFR was better than expected. Not as powerful as the blade but instant, linear power in any gear, more than the Falco and smoother too. Concerns are £3000 more than a blade, and it's looks from the side :smt009
Also it lacks the trinkets of a BMW K1300S (next to try) but commands a similar price.

That is a lot of money for new toys there.

What do you need? Something you can take a little pride in again?

2 - 3k 'll buy a nice Falco another 2- 3K for an RSV-R then another 2 for a Capo then a few hunderd to insure them all, then a trip or two around Europe and I reckon you'd still have change.

Oh and in 2 years the Honda or BMW will be worth half what you paid.

That VFR has fallen out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. Then it got beaten by a crew of thugs armed with ugly sticks.

Honda has really lost the styling plot there.

Absolutely agree. How can stylists in the world's largest motorcycle producer work for over three years to produce that feck ugly POS? As far as I'm concerned, VFR styling went steadily downhill with the introduction of the 800, and has just fallen off a cliff with the current model. They've steadily increased the weight and number of pointless gizmos while running the styling into the ground.

Oh, and they lost the VFR USP (Unique Selling Point) of the gear-driven cams with the introduction of the V-TEC. Now they've gone to a SOHC configuration and have the nerve to rebrand it as 'Unicam'. Wankers.

I agree but you don't see it when you're on it :smt020

I can relate to that - as the world's ugliest man (see thread started by Sam in the main forum) I have the same benefit (unless I mistakenly glance into a mirror)

I'd read that the VFR's tank range is not quite what you'd expect from a sports (?) tourer.

Appearance - I'm thinking buffalo with a greyhound shoved up its arse.

K1300S is cheaper?? And probably better.
