That's fantastic Gio .. I was lucky enough to spend 10 days in Oman (via the UAE) on a KTM 450 Rallye that had been used for the Dakar the year before - the place is quite paradoxical but the bike was awesome!

The last couple of shots were taken on the second day while we were still full of energy - as you can see the 450 just skipped over the sand as you'd expect, but Rob overestimated the 990's capacity to deal with damp sand on inappropriate tyres and with luggage.. We very nearly lost the bike to the advancing tide which would have been difficult to explain to the guys at KTM Dubai!
You don't get a warm-up lap for life...

Neither do I, and it's too much work to find out. I'm happy to let them go for what people want to pay. Bloke I know was moving to Spain and had to get rid of lots of stuff, he was selling in aid of the NABD so I said I'd take them on.
