Just bought the love of my life a new toy...
...It's big, red, plastic and bugger me does it throb.
Oh, and it's a 750cc V4

It wouldn't bother me so much but I'd quite like to take it out for a bit of a blast myself

Tried that already but until the previous owner sends off the log book, it is still registered at his addressGio wrote:back_marker wrote:She likes the look of it but can't tax it until the Post Office opens on bloody tuesday![]()

Well It's legal and it was great for about half a day, when I realised that the front brake pads, which to be fair were looking rather skinny, started making some metal to metal noises and the old girl (the bike that is, not the wife) was swiftly grounded.
Postie should be bringing some nice shiny new EBCs tomorrow.
Nice bike to ride, just took a bit of getting used to riding a four again - albeit a V4 - after the V Twin grunt. Still prefer the Falco though.

Well, it always leaves her with a big smile on her facesnapdragon wrote:So - do we know how Mrs backmarker likes her new toy yet?
However, things seem to have backfired on me somewhat. She takes every opportunity she can to go and ride, leaving me at home 'parenting'

I know what you mean Pierre, I would have preferred the VFR too but you just have to go with what you can afford at the time

Have I missed something? What is it if it's not a VFR?

It's a '95 750 so I think that must be 3rd generation. Not a bad bike at all and in remarkably good condition for it's age and mileage.
Bit too soft for my liking though, I find the Falco that bit more sporty but still suitable for long distance.
