This is my new trike as I bought her.

Bruce has sawn of the old front end and pretty well built a new frame - it's only tacked together atm and difficult to see in his crowded workshop but she's looking better already!

And now she has a name! I was thinking that only Bruce could turn such an ugly duckling into a swan, so Ducky she is!

Starting to look better already.

So painting her yellow then?

Was it you I pointed in the direction of the Yam FJ12/13 powered car racing to get a bike engine to rear wheel drive set up info?

If so can you tell me the name of the series it's been driving me mental 'coz I can't remember.

Could be! Was it Legends Racing

I did think about painting it yellow after christening it Ducky, but every little bit of rust shows up so badly on yellow, I had a yellow car once and it always looked tatty. So I think prolly not! Maybe a yellow duck mascot?

Best use of Yellowduck would be as some sort of mascot.

Actually, he's not posted on here for ages .... maybe he got the message that however much he went on about it we were NEVER going to "Paint It Yellow"

(He does post occasionally on the AF1 forum)

In fact the handling was great, that was why I bought it!

But it will still have light steering cos the weight is mostly at the back although, unlike the wheelying VW trikes, the greater part of the engine weight with the mini is just forward of the axle.
Handling will be something new to learn cos although my GT trike has the original twin shocks it has a solid axle whereas the new one has the mini IRS (early non-hydrolastic), plus a couple of bike shocks, presumably to stop it rolling too much in corners.
