Remember the heady days of yesteryear..well, 7 years ago or so..
The ACU Gold badge on the back of a lid tended to mean the Helmet was 'pukka' and worth wearing. The Euro 'E' and Number didnt really register on the giveafekometer and life was cool.
Fast forward to nowadays, we've got more and more helmets carrying no Gold ACU sticker, more and more Helmets that dont meet the criteria (flip helmets for instance) and a whole bunch of 'E' from Europe.
Do we still hold the ACU sticker as a sign of it being a reputable helmet, or do we err for checking for the relevant E number? Does that ACU sticker still have a worth outside of the racetrack?
Does the ACU sticker mean as much any more?

No - and never did really.
