..... or riders of Aprilia V-twins .... you don't have to be at all heavy handed for the front wheel to come up in the first 2 gears - either by choice or just as a result of 'making progress'

.... just what are you suggesting Gio? My right wrist is nowhere near my pants.
Has "Pulling a Wheelie" just become a euphamism?

Must be sometimes :smt002

Only bikes I can think you have to literally pull a wheelie on are the heavyweight 125's. most bikes poduce enough power to do it without assistance.

A day spent at wheelie school makes you appreciate them.

Never pulled a wheelie yet - if I did, it wouldn't be lead in my pants :smt100

Might give it a go later if I make it out - see you in the next life :smt051

Don't need wheelie school on the GS, it lifts with a tiny twitch of the throttle :smt087 :smt018

Combine a Falco with 15-43 gearing and at about 3,000 rpm the front is lifting... how long and how many gears you go through depends on you and the conditions and where you are of course (hopefully on a ahem... private road) :smt018

Basically apart from junctions and corners the front wheel could live in the air for a long long time. :smt002.

I love wheelies, those that hate them are those that can't do em (IMHO)

I don't like wheelies, but I can do them, however as you say, ahem on a private road if you must.
