Keith Becker (HisNibbs of this parish) has a lovely cafe racer flat twin that he's shared pics of before on this forum, and I really like that but (as you say) that 900 isn't a real BMW.

The real BMW purists with Bayerich blood never got over Bayerich Motor Worken producing the K series, aka the Flying Brick ( no slouch), then to piss off the purists even further along comes the S1000RR thingy, both fantastic engineering concepts.
This thing in my eyes fails to deliver any of the strokes of genius BMW are renowned for.
Every owner of a Loncin powered unit I have spoken to said they regretted buying it.
I have owned several Loncin powered generators because they are cheap,they all ended up in the scrap yard in a matter of months
Cleverly disguised as an adult !

We all have different tastes, that's what makes this site interesting....
But Loncin engines are not the best
Cleverly disguised as an adult !
