The abandoned village of Retamalejo

#1 Post by XTreme » Sun Feb 02, 2020 8:09 pm

Doesn't seem to be a Ride Report section.......so I'll throw this one in here!

Today I went to check out the abandoned village of Retamalejo in the Murcia province of Spain.

It was a rural farming community that only got electricity in the 1960's, but never had any running water. It's been completely deserted now since 1980.

Perfect location for Mr XTreme's Motorcycling Nirvana? Trail riding, flat track oval, MX track...

When is the big opening day?

In the region where I live it's one big bike playground Ben.

You can ride for hours on the road and rarely see a car......and in terms of offroad riding the whole area is connected by trails.
