XSR155 - Funky new modern retro

This new 155cc Yamaha has been launched in Thailand. There's 125cc version on its way. I'd ride this, would you?

For a long time, I felt sorry for any new riders that they could no longer enjoy a zingy 2-stroke but the latest crop of 125s look pretty cool.

That definitely looks like it's taken some styling cues from Husqvarna's Vitpilen and Svartpilen... If I was starting out I'd be very happy with that.

But there's a lot more in riding a stroker than LOOKING cool! They make you really learn to ride because you have to! It's a long time since I rode a 125 but I'm sure they are one of the reasons for the dearth of young riders now - they are just so boring!
The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.

Hmmm... boring is subjective. A 125 represents the first taste of freedom for the young 'uns and I see plenty of YZF-R125s being tazzed around London by the yoof, and I'm sure they're picking up a few skills as they learn to weave through city traffic.

With a dustbin connected at the rear, NO I WOULD NOT, it looks uncomfortable as well.
I hate it when people ask if you have a bathroom, I want to say "No we pee in the garden"
