Hmm, not heard that one... Water in the float bowls was a common issue at one time and I suppose might have been temporarily resolved by a tap....flatlander wrote:Daft as it sounds I do recall the r80 stalling and the dealer saying it was quite common and just needed you to tap the carbs with your boot
I found the power delivery on my Dad's R80 very flat and character less compared to my R90s. My three 1000's are pretty soft too but have quite a lot more grunt than an R80 and more flexibility than the R90s.
