Someone on a forum I belong to has an FJR but it might not be here but - anyone know of an FJR guru somewhere near the south of Birmingham?

Or even just a bike electrickery wizard in the same area?

- for another mate with a poorly FJR!

Might not be much help for the midlands area, but I used to get a lot of stuff and expertise from a bloke nearer to you when I had my FJ1200 and he was into his FJR's too.

Phil Hacker is the bloke, top man and knows all there is to know about the FJ's and FJR's

Have a look at his website FJclub.co.uk, he's based in Gloscestercescshire.

He's a very amenable bloke and is likely to give good advice/help over the phone.

Owner's club would be the way I'd point him too. Met one of their officials a couple of years ago, friend of a friend, nice bloke and they know the models well.

Sorry BG, I confused myself as well as you. I chap near you I referred to and Phil Hacker of the FJ Owners club are one and the same.

I seemed to recall that he was in Devon or Cornwall, but it was probably that I reserved my visits to him when I was heading to friends in the west.
