Are producing bikes once more after 60 odd years, bit on local news this eve.
They plan to produce about 150 bikes a year, the new offering looks very interesting, having a very exagerated trellis frame and girder forks, a mix of techno/retro.
Sounded very nice but Local News didnt go into much detail, the thing will be revealed at the Goodwood Festival this weekend.
Bit like an MV Brutale after dicovering halluconogenics

There is a choice of girder forks or telles on the Ariel Ace - and many other customisable options too.

Based on the 1200 Honda v4 should give it some go.

However, with prices starting at about 20 grand, you won't find many of us in the queue.

The girderfs give it an arse-backwards look IMO.

I see what you mean BG, but I like it (I'm sure Freud would find some sexual deviance in this).

Pity about the price, it's something I'd consider just because of what it is, but given that it looks good too is a bonus.

That looks even better IMO, as they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I've always been partial to the more unusual, dare I say quirky, look.

Holy crap.

That is uglier than a sack full of ugly things that have been beaten with the ugly stick.

Doesn't ring my bell, either, though I do like the front end - good to see something different, even if it's not a new concept. As for the rest of it - styling for styling's sake.

I do like the look of the new Francis Barnetts .... and would imagine they will be somewhat more affordable:

The trials version looks very nice, very unlikley too offend anyone.
Must admit the Ariel girder forked thing does look ' a little, erm, unusual from the side view.
Can see it working with telescoic forks though !

Lokks to me as though the forks are about to fold under!

I agree with you there BG, I dont think I'd want to be doing triple figures on forks like that

Is it me or does it look like a de-frocked Ducati Diavel???
