Absolutely Gorgeous
Though at prices of "less than €100,000" it should be.
That said, it's still cheaper than an old one!
I love the look of it -
though I'm not entirely sold on an 88 degree V on a Brough
Obviously echoes of classic Broughs but also not so far from the minimalism of some of the Confederates
Follow the links:
The 3rd one is to a 120 page online book which covers the history of Brough Superior and also the new bike.

Interesting, brave venture, but IMO the supermoto look does not suit such a design classic, forks way too short.
Think the man has done way too many lines of Nigella

Hmmm .... can't see anything of supermoto in it

Hmmm. Not sure.
Your right about the 88 V design DR: Doesn't look right on a Brough.
I reckon the tail unit should be lopped off too and an extended 'hugger' to emulate the older version a bit more.
Lovin the cans tho!
Wonder why they didn't go with an air-cooled lump? Can't be due to financial reasons (at a 100K a pop!)

As a new bike it doesn't cut it for me. And the old bike is so beautiful you can't improve on it. This one had been ridden 350 miles to a rally.

Bit flat on top with a bit too much air in the middle. Bollocks before you start.
I'm liking the new Hesketh though. The flags on the tailpiece are a bit dubious though.

LOL .....and I think the Hesketh is an ugly thing (though not as ugly as the old Hesketh)
BG - Yes the old Broughs are a thing of beauty and of history. I've always wanted one (but will never have one)
That said the new incarnation is not trying to be a replica but a modern interpretation on a theme - and I think it does a great job. Probably infinitely more rideable too.
Old and new I like them both.

Quite like it but think it would have looked better with a narrower angle, say 60 which looks close to the original.
I also agree that the rear end could have given more of a nod to the past and still have looked modern. Wouldn't kick it out of the garage though.
I'm not taken by the Hesketh as it looks too 'solid' and heavy.
Can't please all the people all the time.

One man's meat is another mans poison......
Liking the Hesketh !
To me the Brough is a bit too far removed from the original, too modern

Tis true. Also if I find one bit I don't like on an otherwise pretty bike I find I'm drawn to it like a thingy to a wotsit. I'm looking at you headlight...

Wish I was, I could get a part in the next Syfy channel movie. We bought you Sharktopus, now cower in the presence of Squidrabbit.
