Your ultimate 5 bike garage

If money was no object, what 5 bikes would you own, why, and how would you use them?

Here is my five, in no particular order:

Ducati 999

Because, in my opinion, it is one of the best looking bikes ever made. I would treat this as a moving piece of art.

Suzui Hayabusa

It's my childhood sweetheart. Once again I think it is a gorgeous looking bike. Probably not the most practical, but it would be lots of fun. I would probably use this if I needed to get somewhere in a hurry.

Aprilia Falco

Since owning mine I have realised what a brilliant bike it is. It can do everything I want without a problem (apart from starting every now and again!). I would use the Falco for everyday commuting and touring.

(don't think i need a pic of this one!)

GSXR600 SRAD

Before I bought the falco I was also thinking about a SRAD. Like the Hayabusa I love the curvy styling. I would use this as a track bike.

Honda CRF450

For offroad fun :D

These were the results when we had to choose a top 3 for our garage:

Ah three years ago.

Glad to say I still stand by the

RD125LC (white and red colour scheme, old school stan stephens tune)
KR1s
and a Mille SP

But GSXR1100 and GPZ900r.. hmm

I would have to rethink the 4th and 5th ones.

Happy to keep the three I had before.

That's a Venom club man, a Guzzi Norge and the Falco.
As to the other two well the MV (is it F4? ) and maybe a KTM or other decent dirt bike.

Seeing as the other thread's over three years old now and there's lots of new stuff I've found/seen:

My Falco (still floats my boat, still mods I want to have a crack at). It'd be my constantly changing one off special.

Irving Vincent Daytona 1600, because they're awesome.
http://www.irvingvincent.com/bikes.

Tiger Explorer for big distance touring. I'd want it in Roulette Green though.

Yam MT-03. Good for briefly thrashing round the local back roads if I fancy a quicky.

No.5? No idea really :-s I don't want a sportsbike as I find them too uncomfortable. Maybe something like a Triumph Thunderbird as I've never had a cruiser, maybe an off-roader suitable for short people?

Tbh. I don't really know. There is such a great choice of some fantastic bikes.
I suppose if I won the euro lottery it would be like being in a sweet shop.
In my watch list on Ebay there is a KR1S in lovely condition.
So I suppose I should say one of those.
I have also started looking at a lot of retro stuff there is something that sort of excites me for some reason.
A Kawasaki KZ 650 maybe
An Suzuki RGV 250.
I followed a couple of BMW R100/80s into boston last Thursday. I pulled up at the side of them and looked at the bikes.
I have looked on ebay at them, and tbh I didn't realise they were becoming so desirable and prices going up.
I really like them so yes one of those for touring.
I of course love the falco and would stay with them.
I also have fads. I see something and think wow they look really nice I would love one of them so my list would change all the time .

Once again , 5 is no where near enough.
If money was no object, Im sure Id have at least 20 !

Id also have a trike or two, and a sidecar, just for the dog. No, he's not called Grommet but he does have the same facail expressions as the plastisene wonderdog

Think I'd go with

BMW S 1000RR
BMW 1200GS Adventure
Ducati 1098s
HD Night rod special
My Falco :D

Would also probably need room for a crosser and a trials bike. And many many more lol

BMW HP2 sport. Not sure when I'd ride it but they're just gorgeous IMHO.
Titanium-framed, hossack-suspended, TDM900 powered TRX850. This is in my 20 year plan (I have a dead TRX in the garage).
RSV4 track bike
Falco for everyday use
VFR1200 for touring with my missus.

And that's 5. I'd like to squeeze a dirt bike in there too - something fun rather than intimidating so CRF250 perhaps.

In no particular order:

1915 Cyclone Boardtrack Racer
1930(ish) Brough Superior SS100
1973 CCM Trail Bike
1962 Triumph Thunderbird (The bike jumped in The Great Escape)
1974 Yamaha TZ750A (there needs to be at least one that screams "I KILL YOU!" Although the Cyclone comes very, very close)

Not too picky am I??
