Sadly Gio, protected NCB isnt worth much as both I and my son found out. All the insurance company does is to increase the gross premium at the next renewal - in the case of my son, doubling the gross premium when his car was hit in a parking space by an unlicenced 80 year old woman who lost control!

In short, its a con.

Was it the 1200GS that was nicked?

My arms aren't black, I'm more an off white colour.

Anyway if they were black you'd look odd, imagine dragging yer knuckles around on the ground
