Maybe the very early one's did.. not sure. Persoanlly i'd look for bikes around 86' onwards. From about 1990 onwards, they started to fit ABS if you're that way inclined.

The K75's are good also.. A bit more hard to come by though. Loved by despatch riders.

The weight isn't too bad once you're on them. Easy enough to flick around. 99% of them came with rear panier rails and boxes as standard, so plenty of room to stick yer sarnies.. :smt001
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

You'll be suggesting a Lambretta next. :smt002
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

VFR400r or a ZXR400. Cheap to insure, an absolute blast to ride and not shy thru the twisties. I commuted on my VFR and thoroughly enjoyed it every day..

Just make sure it's a modern indian GP200 and not an italian classic one.. they really are unfuckingreliable..

Which reminds me I have a Li175 Lambretta chop in the garage that's still in bits. :smt011

XJ900, diversions, RF900, GT550/750, cbx750, cb500, vx800, tdm, fj1200, old fazer600.

Or buy an old 1000rx a hacksaw, some matt black paint, white emulsion and a stick.
Don't buy an ER5 under any circumstances. Or an ER6 either come to think of it.

I'd still be looking for something with a shaft drive.. Just that's just me. :smt001

Yup, a stick.

Hacksaw to cut the silencers off.
Matt black paint to make it matt black. Could mask the lights off I spose.
A stick to copy random bits of the Book of Revelation all over it in white emulsion.

Instant custom commuter.

That made me nearly as happy as the llama song...

I used to have a cb500t in matt black and green smoothrite with war pig on the tank. It had drops and cb750 shocks and avon triple duty sidecar tyres. It was bloody awful. I sold it to my mate who had a hardtail welded on to it, which made it even worse.

Still don't know any more about the relocation - but - I have an urge to buy a friend's GPZ 500. Not quite sure why, but I find it strangely appealing.

Might as well buy a real GPz and not a cheap commuter badged as a GPz to sell.. :smt002

Pick up a GPz 750 or 900 for pennies really nowadays and theyre a whole different experience :smt001

My son in law who will NEVER part with his GPz1000rx would tell you the 500 is a great fun bike!

It is, not disputing that!
It's a long way off being a proper GPZ, like the GS500 is an eternity away from being a GSXR!
