I'm sure there'll be kit's on the market that'll allow you to disable the ABS system.. Either that or be able to by-pass it completely. Again it falls in to the 'how will the police it' question. A yearly MOT isn't the answer as many of us already ride a bike between the two date's that would not pass an MOT as it is.

More euro bollocks to contend with. It's going to get to the stage where everything is so safe, that it becomes unsafe. With some of the systems already available in cars (and newer bikes) I fear we're already there.
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

I can't understand why you'd do that though - if you are breaking at the absolute maximum (with or without ABS) there is no margin of safety and before long you'll come up against conditions that are less than perfect and crash.

ABS or no ABS it's the same ... it's all down to rider judgement.
