For Day trips - useful security

#1 Post by Aladinsaneuk » Wed Apr 07, 2010 9:46 pm

just thought I would share another of my older tips with folks - some may have seen it before but as the summer is upon us... planning starts

I often head off to a meet, or race or what ever and once there, wish to leave stuff safely while i wander around

few years ago, while getting some camping gear I picked up one of these from millets - about 30 quid as it was shop soiled - the package was damaged

(Shopping around may be a lot cheaper!)

I use mine alot - it packs down very small, and when i open it up I can get a helmet, in its bag to protect it, my leathers, in a bin liner into it - i then close it down and lock it to the bike using my bike lock... ie, is not knickable for a random tealeaf....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Impressive, I was intrigued by your mesh bag comments in the your conversation with Keith and thought it was expecting something far more deviant. :smt008

Yes, good stuff that Pacsafe. I'm pretty tempted by their Tank bag too, especially as the main compartment is waterproof, although it's not particularly stylish. Almost better, is their tailbag, as it works just like the Ventura stuff, so can be combined with their racks, or as a stand alone rear sea bag.
