It was an "Orange" bag and I just run the bag's straps under the tail fairing by the top of the grab handles and out the cut outs in the tail fairing at the junction between rider and passenger seat.

i loved the idea, right up to the grab rails were mentioned.....

I worked around the grab rails rather than needed them and reckon it might be neater without them.

I slaken off the rear fairing retaining screws to slide the straps under, then re tighten screws and fit and lock the passenger seat, so a light fingered type can't simply remove it. Don't think the grab rails are doing anything except maybe making the strap length sufficient which can probably be overcome by folding and maybe stapling/cable tying the straps.

About £20- £25 for a good quality bag that does as tail pack, tank bag or ruck sack.

I'm thinking I could also use a pair for panniers but havn't quite worked out a mounting system that won't rub the paint or stick out in the wind. I think there is a way though.... Just havn't been two up touring very often or very far, on the Falco and so have been able to manage with the rucksack combinations and the big Ventura bag.

I was looking at a very similar bag in Aldi for a little less. Not as good quality as my rucksacks by having the plastic cover for the route instructions..... remember those?

Keep the sun to the front left in the morning , front right in the after noon, reverse on the way back.

The smaller bag I use copes with my bulky oversuit, security chain and a light lunch. The larger will take my laptop, shoes and trousers.
