One of those roads on my "things to do before the light goes out" list. :smt004

not one to do if you had a bellyfull of vindaloo and real ale the night before then.....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Well, you say that, but it looks like they've but some proper Armco barriers up. They didn't used to have um. But yes, would certainly need to be wary of the dietary intake in the day leading up to it. :smt003

It's not that bad... until some muppet in a camper who's ignored the sign at the bottom tries to come back down the road towards you.

Single track 1 in 5 hairpins with sheep in the middle sort out the men from the boys :smt003

I know of a number of Round Britain Rally entrants (and Scottish natinal entrants) who've done that road several times and never seen the views cos it's always been raining and/or misty!

We were extremely lucky with the weather, it was clear and sunny for the entire week and a bit that we were up there, didn't rain until the journey home.

My brother lives in Ardersier, which is about 5 miles from Inverness. A bit of a jaunt from his gaff just to do that road, but would be worth it. Maybe something to do as a honeymoon when I make an honest woman out of my woman..lol.. :smt001
